  • Step 1:

Visit the official website – ntaneet.nic.in

  • Step 2: 

    Click on the “View NEET (UG) – 2019 Result” tab given on the screen.

  • Step 3:

    Enter your application number, date of birth and security pin displayed on screen.

  • Step 4:

    The result consisting of the scorecard will be displayed.

  • Step 5:

    Download the NEET 2019 result by clicking on the ‘Print’ button and then save it.

  • Step 6:

    Candidates are advised to save a copy of their NEET result 2019 and keep it safe in their systems for future reference.

NEET Merit List 2019

NTA will release the merit lists for counselling using NEET result 2019. Merit lists will be prepared category wise. They will contain information like the merit rank, marks, roll number and percentile. Please note that reserved category candidates can appear in more than one NEET 2019 merit lists.

NTA will share these merit lists with central and state counselling authorities, who will use them for admission purposes. The respective counselling authorities will then publish subsequent merit lists as per their guidelines. MCC will release merit lists for admission to All India Quota seats as well as Deemed and Central universities seats. The respective state counselling authorities will prepare the merit lists for candidates who are native to the state.

What happens when two candidates obtain same marks in NEET Result 2019?

The inter-se merit or All India NEET rank in the result of NEET 2019, where two or more candidates score equal marks, is determined by employing the tie-breaking criteria described in detail below:

  • Biology Marks– Candidates with higher marks in Biology in NEET are given a higher order of merit compared to those with lesser marks in Biology.
  • Chemistry Marks – In case, there is still a tie, then candidates’ marks in Chemistry will be considered. Candidate with higher marks in Chemistry is given a higher order of merit compared to those with lesser marks in Chemistry.
  • Less Incorrect Answers – If the tie persists, the candidate with the lesser number of incorrect answers in NEET will be given a higher order of merit compared to others.
  • Age Factor – If the tie is not broken even after considering all the above factors, the candidate senior in age will be placed higher in the order of merit compared to others.
